DBTS does not only concentrate on education alone, but also on sports and games. The school has plenty of play gr
ound and necessary sports material. In the school time-table, there are some periods allotted for sports and games for all classes. Students play games such as cricket, basket ball, volley ball, kho-kho and kabadi.

All the girls from 3rd to class 10th are divided into four houses in the nameof reputed women viz. Jhansilakshmi Bai, Rani Rudrama devi, Mother Terresa, Anne Ferrer. The same division is done for the boys in the name of reputed men viz. Sri Krishnadeveraya, Bhagat Singh, Swami Vivekananda, Vincent Ferrer. Each house competes with other houses of the same gender in sports. When quiz competition is conducted all girls’ and boys’ houses are mixed.
